This is my version of the first scene in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
If you've seen it, you might remember that the opening sequence is a story told using stain glass windows. The frame I chose is the one where the Enchantress is revealing herself. I didn't feel like including the prince though, so I just didn't lol.

This was more of an exercise than a true art project, since I placed the original still frame in Illustrator and used it as a guide to draw my outlines. So, I don't feel I can claim that I 'drew' this, but the end result was so pretty that I wanted to share it anyway!

Note: Below, I've included a bit of the opening dialogue that goes with this image, in case you're curious.

"Once upon a time, in a faraway land,
a young prince lived in a shining castle.
Although he had everything his heart desired,
the prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind.
But then, one winter's night,
an old beggar woman came to the castle
and offered him a single rose
in return for shelter from the bitter cold.
Repulsed by her haggard appearance,
the prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away,
but she warned him not to be deceived by appearances,
for beauty is found within.
And when he dismissed her again,
the old woman's ugliness melted away
to reveal a beautiful enchantress..."

Thanks!! I'm glad you enjoy it! Could you tell it was from Beauty and the Beast right away? I think a lot of people forget the Enchantress since she's only on-screen for a few moments.
