No 10: TRAIN HEARTNET
(Black Cat - anime series)
He's got an affinity for cats, and he's rather cat-like himself. I think those are the main reasons I like Train.
Also, his little cat-bell is just too cute.

No 9: RYUUJI TAKASU
(Toradora! - anime series)
I've looked at a ton of other people's versions of this meme, and I've yet to see Ryuuji come up, which surprised me.
I has an 'awww!' moment the first time he tugged on that bit of hair that hangs into his eyes.
He's a character that looks tough but is a really super sweet, misunderstood guy. I'm a complete sucker for nice guys.

No 8 / No 7: SHINJIRO ARAGAKI and JUNPEI IORI
(Persona 3 - video game)
I've grouped these two together since they are from the same game and my comments will be the same for both of them.
I first played Persona 3 when it was re-released to include the option of a female main character.
I wanted to have her date Junpei right from the start, but it isn't an option in the game so Shinjiro was who I had her end up with.
(But still had her ask Junpei out, just to watch him squirm).
Junpei is really kind of a boob, but a likeable one. He's honest and somehow endearing.
Shinjiro is emotionally broken but still has a soft spot he secretly wants to share with someone
(or so it seems to me, when following his 'date path' in the game to the *fullest*. There's a hidden extra scene.)

No 6: SHIN SAWADA
(Gokusen - anime series)
Another character that didn't seem to come up on anyone else's meme list.
I'm not that surprised though, since I'm not really sure why I like him, myself.
He's kind of a pissy, stand-offish, perpetually bored-looking guy.
I've got some subconscious draw to him I just don't understand.
I do think the hair in his eyes is cute though.

No 5: EDWARD ELRIC
(Fullmetal Alchemist - anime series)
I'm also a sucker for a guy with long hair.
And considering that three of my top 5 guys on this list are short guys with short-guy complexes,
that apparently is something else I like.
Alphonse is a sweetheart too, but he's waaaay too young to make this list for me.

No 4: KYO SOHMA
(Fruits Basket - anime series)
Ok, he's a cat. I'm a big-time cat person. And he has orange hair, which is another thing I dig.
And he's just eternally pissed off and defensive, but he's not a violent guy, he just yells and makes cute angry faces.
Another guy with a major soft spot he wants to share with someone.

No 3: YURI LOWELL
(Tales of Vesperia - video game/anime movie)
Long hair, and he's got a soft spot. He's got a very clear idea of how he wants to live his life.
Unlike a lot of game heros, Yuri will kill the bad guy in cold blood, but still retain his sanity and kindness.

No 2: OTANI ATSUSHI
(Lovely Complex - anime series)
Didn't see Otani on many other people's meme lists, which surprised me a lot!
Another red-head with a short-guy complex, which gives him immediate bonus points.
He's also an honest, nice guy, despite being a bit dense when it comes to love.

No 1: KURUSU SHOU
(Uta No Prince Same - anime series)
Short-guy complex, very sweet guy, and wow those eyes are huge and blue!
For some reason I really dig the pins in his blond-pink hair and that hat.
He's just adorable when he gets mad.
Like Kyo, he does a lot of yelling accompanied by cute facial expressions.
